The day was originally scheduled to end when 21% of the field remained. However, due to the large turnout, it was decided to conclude the day with 18% of the remaining field instead. In other words, 105 players will advance to Day 2 tonight.

Hamza El Bouchafrati opened to 3,500 from under the gun, then called after Mark Buckley in the cutoff three-bet to 8,300.

Both of them checked all the way through a board of 89AQ, but after El Bouchafrati checked the K river, Buckley bet 19,500.

It didn't take long for El Bouchafrati to fold, while Buckley flipped over KK for a set.

Rohr Fires Two Barrels

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Jules Rohr opened to 3,000 from early position and faced Luc Ramos, who called from middle position.

The dealer fanned a flop of 510J and Rohr continued for 2,500. Ramos called, then saw Rohr fire a second barrel of 11,500 on the K turn.

Ramos seemed to hesitate for a few seconds, but folded.
