Hammann Check-Raises the Turn

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Sebastian Supper on the button opened to 300. He was called by Benjamin Hammann and Jean-Marc Chiba, both in the blinds.

All three of them checked the 639 flop leading to the A turn where Hammann and Chiba checked again.

Supper took this opportunity to bet 600, but Hammann check-raised to 4,400. He made everybody fold and flipped over the 8.

Very active and talkative, Hassan Nashar opened to 3,000 from the cutoff and was called by Burim Mahmudi in the small blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 7K2. "No king?", Nashar asked before betting 6,000. Mahmudi check-called.

Nashar fired a second barrel of 8,000 on the Q turn, but Mahmudi check-raised all-in. Nashar snap-called, finding himself at risk for 21,700.

Burim Mahmudi: AQ

"Ace-Queen not good, I'm a professionnal like Messi with the ball," Nashar said when he discovered Mahmudi's hand. He doubled up after the J river and eliminated Mahmudi a few hands later.

Fournier Hero-Calls

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Four-way on a flop of 298, Gregory Fournier in the small blind led out for 600, but he was called by all of his opponents.

He checked the 9 turn and saw the big blind bet 2,500. A player in early position folded, as well as Ludovic Mordwa on the button.

The 2 completed the board and after Fournier checked, the big blind bet 4,000. Fournier went into the tank and eventually made the call with Q8 for two pair. He was right to do so as the big blind only had 107.
