Taghla Fires Two Barrels

With the room now completely full, Mohamed Taghla opened to 1,500 from early position and was called by both players in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of 28A and Taghla continued for 1,100. The player in the big blind check-called while the small blind folded.

Taghla fired a second barrel of 3,500 on the Q and made the big blind fold.

"There was a compulsory straddle," explained Aloisha Staes after a few players at his table raised preflop with Yannis eventually moving all-in for 36,900 from the big blind. He was called by "Goodboy" in early position.

Michaud Takes From Abecassis

Louis Michaud opened from the hijack and was called by the cutoff. Michel Abecassis on the button squeezed to 4,200 and Michaud was the only one to call.

Abecassis continued for 4,000, then fired a second barrel of 5,100 on a board of 5107A. Michaud check-called both times.

The 2 river was checked by both players and Michaud scooped the pot with AJ.

Kings Are Not Good for Rascar

Slimane Mameche raised to 1,200 from early position. He was called by the button but Yohan Rascar in the big blind squeezed to 4,000. Both Mameche and the button called.

Rascar bet 4,000 on a flop of 3A4. Mameche folded but the button called, and called a second barrel of 10,000 on the 4 turn.

Rascar checked the 8 river and saw the button moving all-in for 18,800. He went deep into the tank and eventually called with kings but lost to the button's AQ for top pair. He doubled up while Rascar though he was eliminated but had 6,200 left after this hand.
