With play already paused for the redraw, tournament officials have opted to take the 15 minute break now as opposed to between Levels 14 and 15 as scheduled.
With the elimination of Billy Jackson, the 18 remaining players are now in the money. Players have redrawn for seats as there is just two tables remaining.
Billy Jackson was just eliminated by Tom Schneider in 19th place...otherwise known as "the bubble." Despite the strong showing, Jackson left with no prize money.
Vanessa Rousso Eliminated
A short-stacked Vanessa Rousso made her last stand holding A-9. Tom Schneider looked her up holding a pair of sevens. It was a race situation, but Schneider's pair prevailed as he flopped a set, and turned a full house to send Lady Maverick out of the tournament just short of the money.
Dale Morrow was just eliminated by John Devia when his A-Q couldn't outrun the A-K of Devia. Neither player made a pair and Devia's A-K high was best. Morrow chalked it up to bad luck as he exited the tournament room.
Jordan Rich - In the Zone
A short-stacked Jordan Rich was all in preflop holding K-7. He was up against the slightly favored A-3 suited of his opponent. Rich took the lead when the flop came Q-J-7. Rich then sealed the deal when the turn and river both brought sevens. Rich's four of a kind was the nuts, and he doubled up to about 100,000.
Kenny Milam Eliminated
Kenny Milam's day just came to an end when he was all in on the turn holding two aces. The hand was second best though as Ryan Young had made two pair with his J-8. The river missed Milam and he was eliminated.
Lee Markholt Eliminated
Lee Markholt raised to 15,000 from late position. Dale Morrow called from the cutoff seat. The button folded and Giovanni Maracci, playing from the small blind, re-raised to 85,000 total. Markholt couldn't cover the bet, but called his last 60,500. Marrow folded and the players turned up their cards.
Markholt:
Maracci:
Maracci winced as the flop came . The on the turn was harmless for Markholt as well. The on the river gave Maracci the nuts however and Markholt headed for the rail in disgust.
