"Show the Bluff!"

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The pot was around 9,000 and the board was {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Redouane Abed had bet 5,000 which was raised by Antony Wickert to 10100. Abed eventually folded. Ederoua El Mostafa called out "Show the bluff!" and Kalidou Sow joined in "Never a bluff!"

Wickert turned over {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and said to tablemate El Mostafa, "Now I get to ask you one time!"

Auburtin Flops a House

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

It was a case of right place, right time as the flop was spread {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Damien Auburtin bet out 400 and was raised by his opponent to 800. Auburtin called, and then checked both turn {J-Clubs} and river {A-Clubs}. He almost seemed relieved to show the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and rake the pot. He's still a little under starting stack for the day, but moving in the right direction

"Aces? Aces Are Good"

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Early goings on Day 1b and their seems to be very little action going on. Most players are trying to get into their game before splashing around in big pots. Gregory Janin however was left berating himself for a good few minutes, after he raised turn and called a bet on the river on a board of {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Clubs}, only to be greeted by his opponent's {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

The tournament clock says that we have lost just three players from the 171 that have started today, with 43 entrants today being reentries.

Darcourt Gets it Done

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Preflop WPTN Cannes Champion and French regular Guillaume Darcourt raised to 550 over two limpers and five players saw a flop. On a board of {J-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} the blinds checked, and the UTG player bet 550 and got calls from Darcourt and the blinds. These four players all checked the {J-Clubs} on the turn, and the {4-Clubs} was dealt on the river.

Again, both blinds checked and the UTG player again fired, this time a smaller bet of 500. Darcourt thought for a moment before counting out the chips and raised to 3,550 earning three folds. He hesitated before mucking his cards, deciding instead to flash {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to his tablemates, as he raked chips early on Day 1b
