Next Attempt for Hanna; Hot the Usual Maniac

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Besim Hot opened to 2,500 and the player known as Awesomenezz flat-called, Scott Hanna called as well with the {5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The flop came {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Hot continued for 9,000, Awesomenezz raised to 20,000 and Hanna shoved with his double draw. Hot mucked pocket tens and Hanna failed to improve against {Q-}{A-} to order the next bullet.

Hot and Awesomenezz clashed again soon after with the Swiss moving all in after the river of a {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts} board. His opponent was very tempted on the big stack of more than 90,000 but eventually folded and claimed to have had {A-}{J-}, Hot showed the {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. "A dangerous man," Thomer Pidun said in the nine seat.

Jumping on the Olymp Again

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Hans Olymp was involved in a pot of 9,000 chips to the river of a {5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board and the opponent of the King's regular bet 6,000. Olymp gave it a quick thought and folded, but has still already doubled the initial stack.

Two tables over, four players limped and Johann Rosnick then raised to 4,500 in the big blind. Everyone folded and Rosnick grabbed the small pot to recover from earlier losses. "I don't want to have that drama again, once was enough," referring to a big pot he must have lost not long ago.

Carlsen Shoves

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

On a table with Marko Ilicic and Finn Zwad, Claus Carlsen was involved in a three-way pot to the flop {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and check-called a bet of 3,100 out of the small blind. The player in the big blind folded and Carlsen then check-raised all in for 19,000 on the {2-Diamonds} turn when facing a second barrel worth 5,200. The opponent of the Dane folded and Carlsen raked in the pot.

Carlsen mentioned that he played yesterday and lost a 160,000 pot with kings versus {A-}{J-} preflop. Let's hope that his luck today will be better.

Early Exit For Hermann on the Feature Table

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

On the feature table, Mateu Thomasovic opened from early position for 1,050 with Shakib Hamdam calling from the cut-off and Kurz Hermann calling from the big blind. The action was checked to Thomasovic on a {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop, who bet 2,225 with both players calling.

All three players checked when the {4-Spades} his the turn, but the action got interesting on the river when the {10-Hearts} appeared. Hermann opened the action with a bet for 525, which Hamdam raised to 6,000. Thomasovic got out of the way before Hermann declared himself all in for 23,505. Hamdam quickly calls, and Hermann was disgusted before he even saw the cards since he turned his top pair into a bluff with {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Hamdam hit a set on the river with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and got paid off after staying in the hand with cheap action on the previous two streets.

Besim Hot
Besim Hot

Besim Hot had his usual hyper aggressive style get him up to the top of the leader board and then down to zero according to "Awesomenezz". The latter four-bet preflop to 15,200 and Hot called from the button to ham the flop {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-} with {A-}{8-}. Awesomenezz looked him up with pocket jacks and boosted his stack to 145,000 after the Swiss failed to improve.
