Marcin Wydrowski Leads After Day 1b of the 2015 WSOP Circuit Rozvadov Main Event

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The second starting day of the World Series of Poker Circuit €1,650 Main Event at King's Casino in Rozvadov attracted a field of 431 entries, of which 53 were second entries of players that busted their initial stack of 30,000 in chips. The overall field increased to 682 and at least eight further will join the field before the start of Day 2 after winning their entry in Saturday's last-minute Satellite.

A total of 187 players bagged up chips in the second starting flight, and it was former World Poker Tour Prague champion Marcin Wydrowski who accumulated the most chips on Day 1b with 230,000. He's followed by Luc Thong Ta (211,400) and Martin Meciar (181,700).

Super High Roller runner-up Martin Kabrhel (174,800), Serok Kilic (160,600), 2015 WSOP Europe bracelet winner Makarios Avramidis (152,900), Pavel Binar (145,500), Finn Zwad (103,400), and Super High roller third-place finisher Pierre Mothes (101,900) were among those to bag up six-digit counts as well.

Kilic provided the first highlight of the day by hitting a royal flush, whereas the fireworks of Besim Hot got him into the top spot and then to the rail. Sebastian Langrock, Johann Rosnick, Surinder Sunar, Elliot Smith twice, Arvin Ravindran, Dag Palovic, Vojtech Ruzicka, King's regular Hans Olymp, and Dorde Jovanovic didn't make it to Day 2 either.

At least 290 hopefuls will return to the tables as of 14:00 local time for Level 13 and blinds of 800/1,600 with a running ante of 200. The level duration increases to one hour each until a winner is crowned and the goal of Day 2 is reaching the last 16 or a fixed amount of levels, whichever of the two comes first. Registration remains open until the first card is dealt and the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be there to cover another moment in WSOP Circuit history outside of the US.

Nyuli Doubles in last Hand

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Upon checking for the biggest stacks in the room, Ferenc Nyuli said that he had doubled up in the last hand and was sitting behind quite a healthy stack. A player that previously limped with big hands limped in again and two others did as well, Nyuli limped too and it was a family pot to the flop {K-}{6-}{8-}. The initial limper bet almost pot and the Hungarian called before facing a check-raise all in after the {10-} turn.

Nyuli called with a set of sixes and was shown {K-}{10-} for top two pair to scoop the big pot after a blank river.

Three More Hands Per Table

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With the clock down to ten minutes for the day, the tournament director announced that tables will each play three more hands before players bag and tag their chips.

Mecier Contender for the Lead

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On the river of a board {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}, the player in the big blind bets 19,000 and Martin Mecier raised to 64,500 from one seat over. The opponent eventually folded and then said in chat he had {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} for a bluff. Mecier moved up to just below the 200,000 barrier and another big pot might push him into the lead.

Wydrowski's Rise to the Top

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Marcin Wydrowski missclicked once with pocket nines to 10 big blinds and a player tried to take advantage of that with pocket sevens, shoving for 40 big blinds and losing to the Pole. Then, Wydrowski found another spot with pocket jacks in the previous level where an opponent shoved into a raise and a call for 37,000 with pocket fours. Wydrowski had jacks and held up once again.

Just now, a short stack shoved for 5,300 from under the gun and the Pole isolated out of the small blind with the {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. The short stack only had {7-Spades}{5-Clubs} but improved on the flop {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The board filled up with the {3-Clubs} turn and the {6-Clubs} river to give Wydrowski a flush.
