Smith Out Again - Live Stream Ends

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Elliot Smith exits the tournament for a second time just as the live stream ends. From what we understand he got the rest of his chips in with {Q-}{J-} and was unable to improve against his opponents' {a-}{q-}. Live streaming is expected to resume tomorrow, however, the commentator mentioned that at the same time as streaming the Main Event, they will also strive to cover some of the one-day €250 buy-in Ladies Event which begins tomorrow at 18:00 CET.

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Sam Grafton won a small pot with pocket fours in a battle of the blinds against Marko Ilicic and then called a raise on the button, the player in the big blind called as well. On the flop {3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, initial raiser Murat Kilicsaymaz continued for 6,000 and Grafton called before they checked the {5-Hearts} on the turn. Kilicsaymaz bet the {4-Hearts} river for 15,000 and Grafton called to muck when he got shown the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} by his opponent.

Elliot Smith Gambling Away Some Chips - Thomasovic Doubles

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Mateu Thomasovic
Mateu Thomasovic

Elliot Smith has almost gambled away his one reentry, this time passing a bunch of chips over to Mateu Thomasovic. The action began with Pascal Masset raising from early position to 2,100. Smith three-bet the action to 5,000 before Thomasovic went all in for 16,400.

Masset got out of the way, and Smith decided to gamble and call.

Thomasovic: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Smith: {A-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Thomasovic was able to double up by holding on to his advantage after the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, while Smith is now the lowest stack on the feature table.

Ruzicka Enforces Fold

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Sasa Lalos' rise in the counts has been halted by Vojtech Ruzicka. The Czech bet the {7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts} turn for 9,600 for about half the pot and Lalos gave him the stare down before folding. Next to Lalos is another big stack and by far no unknown on the poker circuit in Martin Meciar, 4th in the Slovakian all time money list.

Eder Loses to Short Stack

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The player in under the gun min-raised to 2,000 and Mario Eder as well as Amir Mozaffarian called in the blinds. On the flop {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, both players in the blinds checked and the short stack moved all in for 11,100. Eder called with the {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} while Mozaffarian folded the {9-Spades}.

The short stack held {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and doubled as the board filled up with the {5-Spades} turn and the {3-Spades} river. The tables around them provide some other familiar faces in Marcin Wydrowski and Jerome Sgorrano.

Elliot Smith Reenters and is One of the Three New Players on the Feature Table

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

During the break, three new players replaced the three that left on the featured table. Well, actually, two new players - Marc Meden and Andriyf Shcherbatyuk - as the third player was Elliot Smith who just left the table right before the break.

The tournament directors confirmed that he was randomly selected to head back onto the feature table. Smith is one of the tougher players in the field and was also on the featured table during the €25,000 Super High Roller with table-mate Jan-Peter Jachtmann on Nov. 7 & 8.

Stober Busts Olymp

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After the previous hand, Sebastian Stober had shook hands with Hans Olymp and the latter said "it's okay, I am still in." That was until now, though. Stober put the King's regular at risk with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Olymp held the {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. "I don't want any suckout," Stober said and stood up.

The board ran out {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Olymp was headed to the rail.
