Ilicic Busts Two

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Aleksandr Nemcov
Aleksandr Nemcov

Paul Michaelis lost a 360,000 pot with {A-}{K-} against the {A-}{8-} of Roman Bláha and the next big pot was about to emerge on table 3.

Aleksandr Nemcov flat-called a raise by Marko Ilicic and Goran Curic then moved all in. Ilicic isolated and moved all in himself with Nemcov calling all in for around 100,000.

Ilicic: {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Curic: {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Nemcov: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{A-Clubs} to give Ilicic a straight and bust two opponents just prior to the end of the level.

As we get closer and closer to the bubble breaking, only one woman is remaining in the WSOP Circuit King's Casino Main Event - Italy's Lyudmila Rudova. Rudova may need a double up to make it past the bubble as she has a small stack of 45,000 chips, which represents under 8 big blinds.

Doblinger Doubles; Uharcek Busts

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Franz Doblinger moved all in for 52,000 from the button with the {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and had picked an unfortunate timing, as Marek Uharcek had the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} in the big blind. Lady luck came to the rescue on the board {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Doblinger doubled. Uharcek had 20,000 left and those vanished shortly after.

Stephan Cruising During Bubble

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Play is slowing down on most before the bubble breaks, and some of the players with the biggest stacks are taking advantage of their opponents looking to. Steven Stephan who has been among the chip leaders since entering the tournament, is one such player doing just that, and has accumulated 936,000 chips according to our last count.
