After eight hours of Pot-Limit Omaha action, "ChilaxChuck" emerged victorious in the $10,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller Event, taking home $442,041, and the WSOPC ring. The prizepool had a guarantee of $1,000,000, but the field ended up drawing 234 entries, making for a huge prizepool of just under $2,267,000.

"ChilaxChuck" started the final table as the short stack, but after scoring an early double up, they went on a tear, knocking out every player at the final table except "Mikhail Tal".

Three handed play saw a few swings before "ChilaxChuck" scored the knockout of "SillyRabbit". Then, in the biggest pot of the entire tournament, "ChilaxChuck"'s naked pair of aces was able to dodge a flush draw and set outs for "BailaMorena," and from that point on, "ChilaxChuck would never lose the lead.

That wraps our coverage of this action packed Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller. Thanks to everyone who tuned in, and be sure to check out all the other tournaments covered here by Pokernews!

"BailaMorena" Eliminated in 2nd Place ($330,249.77)

"BailaMorena" and "ChilaxChuck" would get all of the chips in the middle after the flop of {3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Both players had flopped flush draws, but "BailaMorena" also flopped a straight. "ChilaxChuck" could still win the WSOPC ring and first place with a turn or river diamond, and he got just that with the {7-Diamonds} river.

"BailaMorena" will take home $330,249.77 for second place, but the $442,041 and the WSOPC ring will be going to "ChilaxChuck". Stay tuned for a full recap to be posted in a bit.

"SillyRabbit" Eliminated in 3rd Place $246,730.66)

For the third time in almost as many hands it seemed, "SillyRabbit and "ChilaxChuck" tangled in a massive pot, and this time, "ChilaxChuck" was able to put the final nail in "SillyRabbit"'s coffin.

The two would ace again get the chips in the middle after the flop, with "ChilaxChuck" flopping the nut flush draw, while "SillyRabbit" flopped top pair and a wrap. The {8-Hearts} on the turn gave "SillyRabbit" a straight, but also gave "ChilaxChuck" more outs for a full house. The flush would come on the river, virtually doubling "ChilaxChuck" up, while also sending his recent rival to the rail.

With that, heads up play has begun. Good luck to the final two!

"Mikhail Tal" Eliminated in 4th Place ($184,333.18)

The action isn't slowing down one bit despite the huge pay jumps at stake, as there are suddenly only three players left. The latest to hit the rail was "Mikhail Tal", who got his final chips in preflop in a blind vs blind situation. "Mikhail Tal" would flop top pair, but he was never able to catch up to the two jacks held in "BailaMorena"'s hand.

This leaves us with just three players remaining. They have all earned at least $246,730.66.

"ChilaxChuck" continued his hot streak when he knocked out "4sigma" in 5th place, right after busting "SUPERUNKNOWN" in 6th. On this hand the money went in preflop, and "ChilaxChuck" never relinquished the lead, making an unnecessary set of queens on the river.

This means just four players remain. They all have at least $184,333.18 locked up.

"SUPERUNKNOWN" Eliminated in 6th Place ($102,887.09)

"SUPERUNKNOWN" and "ChilaxChuck" got into a raising war preflop that saw over 600,000 get into the middle in what was the biggest pot of the tournament so far. "SUPERUNKNOWN" was in great shape to double up through the flop, and the turn, but improbably, the river brought a two outer, sending "SUPERUNKNOWN" to the rail in 6th, while also boosting "ChilaxChuck" into the chip lead.

Big Double For Felipe Ramos

After a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Felipe Ramos did a check raise that saw him commit nearly all of his chips. His opponent, "cantbreathe", put him at risk with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, but saw that Ramos had flopped a one outer, as he tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Ramos needed to dodge a one outer himself now, but the {10d] on the turn did give "cantbreathe" flush draw outs now. However, the {2-Clubs} completed the board, and Ramos doubled up to nearly 60,000 in chips.

"ubicaprofi" Busts Fedor Holz

All of the action has been at Fedor Holz's table so far today, including this latest pot that saw Holz get eliminated.

Four players saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and "ubicaprofi" bet pot, 2,340, first to act. Tournament chip leader "London2Paris" called, as did Holz, and the {q-Diamonds} came on the turn.

In a flash, "ubicaprofi" had bet pot once again, "London2Paris" folded, and Holz called all in.

Holz: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

"ubicaprofi" had the lead with his flopped straight, but Holz could still catch about half the deck to win. However, the {a-Spades} river provided no help, sending the German pro to the rail. while boosting "ubicaprofi"'s stack towards the top of the counts.
