Court Catches a Break

Court Harrington took advantage of a technicality, knocking two players out of the tournament with a set of 8's. Here's how it played out:

A player in early position moved all in for 1000 and Court reraised to 3200. The action folded to the small blind who attempted to move all in, but his bet was ruled a call by the dealer, enabling Court to see the flop without calling another bet. The flop came {K-Clubs} {10-Spades} {8-Diamonds}, and the small blind moved all in for his last 1200. Court called immediately, turning over {8-Clubs} {8-Spades} for a set, which held up when the turn and river brought the {2-Clubs}, {9-Diamonds}. The small blind turned over {J-Hearts} {J-Spades} and the original raiser showed {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Court now has about 13,000 chips.
