Making Room

The badly-shortstacked Mark Vos commited all but 50 of his chips in a four-way limped pot. They saw a {4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop and when Daniel Negreanu bet 600, Vos tossed in his two remaining green chips. Negreanu flopped two pair with {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Vos was drawing thin indeed with {7-Spades}{3-Spades}. Vos didn't get the runner-runner cards he needed and was eliminated.

Doyle Brunson Pocket Aces Good

Doyle Brunson
Doyle Brunson
Doyle Brunson had one opponent on a board of Q-8-J-J-8. With two pair on the board, a potential straight, trips, or full house, Brunson bet out 1,000. His opponent mucked his cards, and Brunson casually turned over his pocket rockets. Beware of the legend, he's tough to beat. With that win, Doyle was up to 23,500 in chips.

T.J. Cloutier Has Been Eliminated

T. J. Cloutier
T. J. Cloutier
After calling a re-raise before the flop T.J. Cloutier and another player saw a flop of {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. T.J. bet the pot and called when his opponent moved all-in. T.J.'s {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} were behind his opponent's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, but he'd picked up a flush draw to go with the two Queens left in the deck. But those outs eluded him and Cloutier was eliminated.
