Tony G called another player's all-in bet of 475 on the first round of betting, and sent him packing when his (pair of 4's) beat the (ace high) held by his opponent.
When the tournament staff broke the remaining tables from the pavillion, a big time matchup was created on table 8. Greg "Fossilman" Raymer and Max Pescatori and now sitting just one seat apart, and each has over 5,000 chips. We could definitely see some fireworks here.
Just before the break, Men "The Master's" quest to take over first place on the all-time seven-card stud money list at the WSOP came to an end . . . at least until the next stud event.
