Tony G Sends One Home

Tony G called another player's all-in bet of 475 on the first round of betting, and sent him packing when his {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} (pair of 4's) beat the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} (ace high) held by his opponent.

Tony now has over 5,000 chips and climbing.

Fossilman vs. Max

When the tournament staff broke the remaining tables from the pavillion, a big time matchup was created on table 8. Greg "Fossilman" Raymer and Max Pescatori and now sitting just one seat apart, and each has over 5,000 chips. We could definitely see some fireworks here.

Men "The Master" Nguyen Eliminated

Just before the break, Men "The Master's" quest to take over first place on the all-time seven-card stud money list at the WSOP came to an end . . . at least until the next stud event.

Men "The Master": {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Opponent #1: {7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent #2: {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{A-Spades}

Nguyen tossed in his last 120 on fifth street with his trademark catchphrase "all you can eat, baby" and was called by two opponents. His opponent's aces and deuces bested his sixes and threes and he was sent to the rail.
