Robert Mizrachi Eliminated in 6th Place ($32,069)

Robert Mizrachi is back down to 18,000 in chips, and decides to commit to the hand with {A-Spades} showing, completing the bet to 8,000. Chris Bjorin had the bring-in with the {2-Diamonds}, and calls after everyone else folds. Mizrachi is all in on fourth street for his last 10,000, and they show:

Robert Mizrachi: {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Chris Bjorin: {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

There are only six diamonds left in the deck, and Bjorin just needs one to complete his king-high flush. Fifth street brings the {K-Hearts} for Bjorin, giving him a pair of kings, and sixth street fills his flush with the {8-Diamonds}. Mizrachi has nothing but an open-ended straight draw, and he's drawing dead.

Robert Mizrachi is eliminated in sixth place, earning $32,069.

The Death and Rebirth of Robert Mizrachi

Robert Mizrachi: X X {9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} X
Ali Eslami: X X {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{A-Spades} X

Both players check sixth street, and Mizrachi bets 16,000 on seventh. Eslami calls, and Mizrachi prepares to muck. Eslami shows {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a pair of kings, and Mizrachi mucks. Eslami takes the pot, and Mizrachi is down to just 9,000 in chips.

That's right -- 9,000 in chips. The limits are 8,000-16,000.

Walter Browne completes to 8,000 with the {J-Diamonds} showing, and Mizrachi is all in for his last 7,000 (after his ante) with the {A-Clubs} showing. They show:

Walter Browne: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Robert Mizrachi: {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Browne picks up another queen for two pair, but Mizrachi catches two more sevens to win the pot with three of a kind. Mizrachi nearly triples up to 26,000 in chips.

The next hand, Mizrachi commits on fourth street showing {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} against Tom Schneider's {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. They show:

Robert Mizrachi: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Tom Schneider: {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Schneider is looking for a jack for his straight, but it's Mizrachi who catches the {J-Spades}, giving him three of a kind to double up again.

Robert Mizrachi is back up to 66,000. He's not dead yet.

Chris Bjorin Takes a Pot Against Robert Mizrachi

The final hands look like this:

Robert Mizrachi: X X {2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} X
Chris Bjorin: X X {Q-Clubs}{A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} X

Mizrachi has the bring-in for 2,000, Bjorin completes to 8,000, and Mizrachi calls. Bjorin bets every street, and Mizrachi calls them all.

After the last card is dealt, Bjorin bets, Mizrachi checks his hole cards and folds -- he must have missed his draw. Bjorin takes the pot, and Mizrachi is down to just 75,000 in chips.
