We've had another bustout and that means the remaining 54 players are in the money. But Johnny Chan very nearly wasn't among those still left standing. After seeing a flop of {A-Diamonds}

with Ayaz Mahmood, Chan bet 3,000 and Mahmood called. He also called after Chan bet 9,600 when the {6-Diamonds}

hit on the turn, and when Chan checked after the {8-Spades}

peeled on the river, Mahmood bet 3,000 to set Chan all-in.

Chan called and both players ended up showing an A-9 for two pair. The two chopped the pot and seconds later it was announced that another player had busted and the survivors had all cashed.
