Moneymaker Doubles

Chris Moneymaker limps in early position. A middle position player raises and Dan Schmiech re-raises. Moneymaker re-re-raises all in, the middle position player folds, and and Schmiech calls. Moneymaker has aces, Schmiech has kings, and the flop brings two jacks but no king. There's no help either for Schmiech on the turn or river, and Moneymaker doubles to 63,000. The player in middle position claims he folded jacks and would have made quads.

Wahlroos and the Sit-ups

There is some brouhaha involving an Internet video having been passed around of Thomas Wahlroos doing sit-ups. Roland de Wolfe is the instigator of this little prank, and several players have been having a laugh all day at Wahlroos' expense. He's taking it well.
