Nam Le Survives a Scare

Down to his last 10,400, Nam Le moved all in over the top of another player's all-in. The big blind considered making the call, but eventually mucked and revealed pocket jacks.

Nam turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and was in good shape against his opponent's {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}. The board came {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}, increasing Le's stronghold on the hand. The {10-Hearts} on the turn cemented the pot for Nam, who eliminated his opponent from the tournament.

For dramatic effect, the {J-Diamonds} fell on the river, while everyone watching let out a collective "Ooooh!" as the big blind would've made the best hand on the river, had he called the preflop bets.

Nam Le now has almost 20,000 chips; the pot significantly improved his chances of making the money.
