Nuts!

Holding {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} on a {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} board, Phil Ivey bet 11,000 on the river and was called by his opponent. Ivey turned over the nuts (a wheel) and increased his stack to 27,300.

"That was a bad river for me" griped his opponent, who had made his set.

Michael Mizrachi Takes Out Another

An early-position player limped in with {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Mizrachi checked the big blind with {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. All the chips went in on the {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Mizrachi with a set of eights, his opponent with a set of aces. The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, but the river was the {4-Clubs}, making Mizrachi a wheel. He dragged the pot and is up to 47,000.
