Vivek Shows 'Em King High

A late position player raised to 20,000, Vivek Rajkumar raised to 30,000, David Pham raised to 40,000, the LP player folded, and Rajkumar called. The flop was {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Pham bet, Rajkumar raised, and Pham went into the tank for a long time before folding.

Vivek indeed showed king high ({K-Spades}{Q-Spades}) as he dragged the pot. Pham claimed to have folded Q-Q.

Ship It, Vivek!

Vivek Rajkumar has the loudest railbirds in the room. It's not too hard to do at 3:15 a.m., but every time he wins a pot his drunk friends scream, "Ship it, Vivek! Show 'em King high!!"

A New WSOP Wunderkind?

If Vivek Rajkumar goes on to win this event, he would tie the record set by Steve Billirakis in Event #1 as the youngest bracelet winner in the history of the WSOP. Rajkumar is 21 years and 9 days old today.

Since his birthday, Rajkumar has played in six events and cashed four of them -- Event #22 ($5,000 NLHE), Event #25 ($2,000 NLHE), Event #28 ($3,000 NLHE), and now, this one.

Vivek Rajkumar Doubles Up

Vivek Rajkumar raised from middle position, Petri Pollanen re-raised, and Rajkumar called. The flop was {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Rajkumar bet, Pollanen raised, and Rajkumar called. The turn was the {9-Diamonds}. Rajkumar bet and Pollanen called. The river was the {9-Spades}. Rajkumar bet the last of his chips and Pollanen called.

"Do you have a pair?" asked Rajkumar.

"No" replied Pollanen.

"YEAAHHHHH!!!! SHIP IT!" cried Rajkumar and his collection of railbirds as he tabled his {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and raked in the pot.
