Chris Ferguson Decides To Fight Another Day

After the player in the big blind called Chris "Jesus" Ferguson's 2,000 preflop raise, they saw a flop of {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. The big blind check-called Ferguson's 3,500 bet, and when the {10-Clubs} hit on the turn they both checked. When the {2-Spades} fell on the river the other player bet 6,000, and Ferguson said, "You got a flush" before laying down his cards. That hand left Jesus with just 5,600 in chips.

Joe Sebok Makes a Big Call

In late position Joe Sebok raised to 1,800 and the big blind made it 6,800 straight. Sebok called and they saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Both players checked, and they also checked when the {2-Spades} fell on the turn. The player in the big blind bet 5,000 when the {4-Hearts} hit on the river, and Sebok called and showed {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. The big blind had {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Sebok's pair of fours won the pot.

Joe Tehan
Joe Tehan
After betting 6,500 preflop, Joe Tehan's opponent moved all-in for 13,500. Tehan called and turned over A-K. His opponent showed pocket jacks and the race was on.

Flop: {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds}, which gave Tehan's opponent the gutshot straight draw which was completed when the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the river. Tehan's opponent doubles up, leaving Tehan with 6,000 in chips.

Juanda Makes an Amazing Call

Flop: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

On the flop, Juanda led out for 1,575 and his opponent moved all-in for another 12,000. Juanda went into the tank before ultimately deciding to call. Juanda showed {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and his opponent showed {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Even though Juanda had his opponent outkicked on the flop, the {J-Clubs} on the turn and the {K-Spades} on the river made it a chopped pot for such a tough call.
