Miami John Gives Some Back

A player in early position raised to 300, John Cernuto re-raised to 900, and the small blind pushed all in for 2100. The player in early position folded and, after going into the tank, Cernuto called. The small blind had pocket kings and John Cernuto had pocket jacks. When it was all said and done, the kings held up and Cernuto is at 3,750 chips.

Alspach Doubles Up

A player in the cut-off raised to 400 and Dan Alspach called from the big blind. On a flop of {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Alspach pushed all-in and was called. Alspach had {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and his opponent had {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for the flush draw. The turn brought a {9-Clubs} and more outs for his opponent. But the river was {8-Clubs}, allowing Alspach's jacks to hold up. Alspach is back up to 1,750 chips.

Paul McKinney Enjoying and Doing Well

Paul Mckinney is back to win again. He said, "there are four things I really enjoy in life, poker, moonshine, horse racing and well endowed women, not necessarily in that order." At 83 years young, he may be the eldest of our seniors. Still sharp as a tack and witty as ever, it's always fun to watch him play.

Miami John Building an Early Stack

A player raised it to 200 from middle position and Miami John Cernuto re-raised it to 600 and was called. On a A-J-9 flop, Cernuto bet 600 and the other player re-raised all-in for 1200 total. Cernuto showed A-K to his opponent's A-Q. The turn and river were 10-7 and Cernuto is up to 5,000 chips.
