Joanne "J.J." Liu, is another colorful personality in today's event. Just like her husband, Dan Alspach, she has a flare for fashion, wearing stylish hats and matching outfits. Liu is considered to be one of the top women poker players in the world. She made her first final table in a major poker tournament in a 1996 World Series of Poker limit hold'em event, the same year she started playing poker.

So far in her career she has made it to the final table 27 times, finishing as follows:
