Tom Schneider - Chip Leader

Tom Schneider is a recognizable face at the tables to those of us who follow the poker circuit. His list of recent accomplishments includes a 2006 WSOP Final Table in a $1,500 Limit Hold’em event; a WSOP Circuit Final Table in the $10K Main Event at Caesar’s Palace also in 2006. Add to that a 3rd place finish at the World Poker Challenge in 2005 and a total of four WSOP cashes in four years.

Tom comes into this final table with a more than ‘double-the-chips’ lead on his nearest opponent. This is going to be a tough final table but a big chip lead on a seasoned field is certainly the way you want to begin.

John "The Razor" Phan - 8th Place

Hovering down the leaderboard at this final table is another big name and big threat. John Phan has a list of poker accomplishments dating back to ten years when he haunted the LA poker rooms. The long list of cashes includes a near miss last year at the World Series, where John finished second in a $1,000 Hold’em event. He took home over $280K for that finish but we all know it’s the bracelet that draws John and the other players at this WSOP 2007 Final Table.

John begins today’s play with 88,000 chips and I would guess he is ready to pounce early.
