Leibold Steals One from Maesano, Silencing the Brazilian's Entourage

Just before the game switched to Stud 8-or-Better, Imre Leibold took a very large Omaha 8-or-better pot away from Juliano Maesano on the river.

Maesano's pocket aces led the entire way, as the board filled out {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Imre held pocket queens and spiked a third one on the river to make a set, giving him the checkmark for the hand.

Juliano's fans grew silent as Leibold raked in the massive pot. Here's how both players stood after the hand:

Leibold: 90,000
Maesano: 140,000

Ante: 1500
Low Card: 2000
Limits: 600-1200

Davis Busts Two

Raymond Davis eliminated both Matt Matros and Lucky Liu from the tournament on the same hand; the board brought three jacks and Davis, holding A-K, had the top kicker combination.

Matros had fewer chips than Liu to start the hand, which means Matros will receive 14th place, and Lucky Liu will take lucky number 13. Both players received $6,842 in prize money.

After winning the hand, Raymond Davis upped his chip stack to 150,000.
