"Pearljammer" Still "Alive"

After a couple of hits that saw his stack drop back down to 10,000, Jon "Pearljammer" Turner has doubled up and is back in the hunt.

Facing a 1,700 raise that had been called, Jon moved all in from late position for his last 10,000. Only the original raiser called and they were heads up. The cards were rolled over, and Jon had the rockets, {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, while his opponent held {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Jon's overpair was enough to take it down.

His opponent moved in and Ury called, again announcing, "I have a hand." as he turned over his trips. The other player turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} and everyone at the table cheered as Jeffrey doubled up to 18,400.
