Gualter Salles Run Off Track

Gualter Salles, the Brazilian car driver, just went out when his {K-Spades}

didn't make a turn around the {A-Clubs}

of his opponent.

Either way, it was a very nice run for Salles, the penultimate Brazilian player leaving the Main Event of the 2007 WSOP.

Though the above headline would be true for many people, in this case we're referring to a specific Vegas -- Karam Vegas, the player with the best poker name since Moneymaker.

Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy Eliminated

A short-stacked Cliff Josephy was just sent home when he finally took a stand with {K-Hearts}

. Josephy got action from one of the few hands to have him incredibly dominated, the {K-Clubs}

of David Names. A {9-Hearts}

on the flop brought a flicker of hope for Josephy, but that pair of nines would be the best hand he'd make. Names took down the pot and sent "JohnnyBax" packing. Names is now at 230,000 in chips.
