Jason Koshi is all in preflop for 151,000 with against Ryan Lawrence's . The board comes , and Lawrence turns a pair of nines to take the lead, but Koshi rivers a pair of kings to clinch the pot, doubling up to more than 300,000 in chips.
Nguyen raised to 15K in the small blind and Mortensen called in the big. The flop came and Mortensen called Nguyen's 30K bet. When the hit on the turn Nguyen checked, Mortensen bet 40,000 and Nguyen check-raised to 100K. Mortensen called, and when the fell on the river they checked it down. Nguyen showed for the flopped two pair and Mortensen mucked. That pot lifted him to 800,000 and dropped the 2001 World Champion down to 180K.

Just before the break, Nolan Dalla announced we have players from all over the world playing Day 4 of this years Series. He went through over a dozen different countries, but it turns out he left one out. There is one player in the field from Wales, to which Nolan gave the witty reply "There are a lot of fish in Whales."
This must have been playing on Steve Crockett's mind when he raised from the cutoff on Humberto Brenes' big blind. Humberto went into the tank, and while he was contemplating a decision, Crockett asked "Is the shark coming out to play?". Humberto laughed and called the 14,000 raise. The flop came , Humberto fired out 30,000, and Crockett folded instantly.
One thing is for sure, if you are going to play in these waters, you had better know how to swim.
