Redmond Rakes with Four Queens

Team PokerNews player Richard Redmond was sitting in the big blind with pocket queens when an opponent on the button pushed all in; Redmond made the call and revealed the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. His opponent turned over {K-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Redmond tightened his grip on the hand when the flop came {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and officially sealed the deal on the turn when the {Q-Spades} fell off the deck.

Redmond eliminated his opponent from the tournament and has since increased his chip stack to 86,000.
