Earlier in the day Lee Watkinson doubled up through Phil Laak when he spiked a jack on the river. The jacks weren't kind to Watkinson on this hand as the two players got all the chips in with the board reading . Watkinson held , while Laak had for trips. The board didn't alter the status quo and Juanda's stack was reduced to 16,100.
Tom Schneider raised to 1,700 and Ryan Young popped it to 6,000. Schneider moved all in for 11,000 and Young made the call. The players were racing--Tom with , Ryan with --and after the board was revealed the defending WSOP Player of the Year was eliminated. Young now sits with 46,000.

The dealer tapped the table and then put a four on the turn, giving Mueller's opponent, Tony Licastro, a straight. In reaction, Mueller commented, "Are you serious?!?! At least wait until the river!"
Mueller still had outs going to the river, but missed when an ace fell, and he was eliminated.
