Tim West Advances to Round 2

Tim West has just outlasted Sabyl Landrom to move on to Round 2. Landrom had a small chip lead, then came these three hands:

Hand #1: After some preflop betting West got all of his chips in the middle on a flop of {10-Diamonds}

and Landrom called. West turned over A-10 for flopped trips, and Landrom A-8. The turn and river didn't help Landrom, and West suddenly had a commanding 9-to-1 chip lead.

Hand #2: Landrom was dealt {A-Diamonds}

and went all-in, and West called with {A-Spades}

. The board ran out A-K-9-9-Q, and they chopped the pot.

Hand #3: Another all in, and this time Landrom had {10-Spades}
