Vanessa Selbst and another player were all in preflop with Vanessa holding pocket fours while her opponent held {A-Hearts}

. Selbst's pocket pair held up and after the hand she's up to 20,000.

Tony Dunst Has Been Eliminated

After a player raised to 1,100 Andrew Balduff called and Tony Dunst then moved in for his last 5,700. The original raiser folded, Balduff called, and his {9-Diamonds}

was racing Dunst's {A-Diamonds}

. That race turned into a rout when Balduff flopped a set and Dunst was drawing dead on the turn.

Pete Rios Wins a Huge Pot

With aces against pocket sixes, all the money in before the flop. And on the flop Rios hit yet another ace to lock up the pot and lift his stack to 82,000.

Laak Short-Stacked

Phil Laak limped from small blind and Jared Hamby made it 1,500 to go. Laak moved all in, having Hamby covered, and Hamby called. Phil showed {9-Hearts}

and his opponent showed {10-Diamonds}

. Phil managed to spike a nine on the flop, but Hamby caught an ace on the river for top pair.. Phil was crippled after the hand, while Hamby doubled up.

Someone's Not Gonna Enjoy Dinner

Paul Kobel won a huge pot with pocket aces against players holding tens and kings. All the money went in before the flop and the door card was the {10-Clubs}

. The crowd gathered around the table, went, "Oooh!"...until the dealer spread the rest of the flop and the {A-Clubs}

appeared.

The other card on the flop was the {6-Spades}

, and the turn card was the {6-Diamonds}

. That made another player at the table say, "Oooghhh." He said that he folded pocket sixes before the flop, and everyone believed him. True, hard to hang onto pocket sixes with three players all in before the flop, but it's still gonna leave a bad taste in your mouth. Kobel is now up to 50,000.

Chris Ferguson Doubles Up

In the last hand before the break Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and the player in the big blind saw a {3-Hearts}

flop. The other player bet 5,200, Ferguson moved all in for 22,000 and was called. Ferguson had {9-Clubs}

for a flush and inside straight draw to his opponent's top pair with {A-Spades}

. Ferguson made his flush when the {5-Clubs}

fell on the river and won a pot that lifted his stack to 52,000 at the break.
