Liu Continues to Climb

Liz Lieu raised preflop from middle position for 8,000. Both the small blind and big blind called and the flop came {A-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {5-Clubs}. Both the blinds checked to Lieu, who led out for 19,000 and the small blind pushed all in for his remaining 1,000 or so. The big blind folded and Lieu called, showing A-10 while her opponent showed pocket kings. Lieu's pair of aces held to the river and after the hand she's up to 132,000.

Selbst Cracks Kings

Vanessa Selbst called an all-in from a player preflop. Selbst held A-9 while her opponent had pocket kings. The board ran {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}, giving Selbst a straight on the turn. After the hand Selbst is up to 232,000.

Jimmy Tran Lives To Fight Another Day

After calling an 11,000 reraise from the player in the small blind, Jimmy Tran and his opponent checked the {6-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} flop. The {Q-Hearts} turned and after the small blind checked, Tran bet 17,000, leaving himself about 35,000 behind. The small blind then pushed, and Tran laid his hand down. And it was apparently the right fold--his opponent showed {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds}.

Chip Count Updates

We want to apologize to all the viewers of today's event. After a mixup this morning, players and their player-id cards became jumbled and we were unable to track all the players as thoroughly as we had planned.

We have now corrected everything and within just a matter of minutes the chip counts should be completely accurate. We apologize for the confusion and for the lack of posts over the last few minutes of this round as we attempt to correct everything.
