Pete de Best Eliminates Liz Lieu

Liz Lieu
Liz Lieu
Liz Lieu raised a sizeable chunk of her stack before the flop and Pete de Best called from the small blind. The flop came K-K-Q and when Lieu bet the rest of her stack de Best called with Q-J. That was better than Liz's pocket sevens, and when she didn't hit on the turn nor river she was eliminated.

Levi Doubles Through [Removed:500]

Ta raised to 26,000 and Nicolas Levi made it 100,000 to go. Ta then three-bet to 226,000 and with much of his stack already committed Levi moved in for his last 231,000. Ta made the call and his {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds} was racing against Levi's {A-Clubs} {10-Spades}. The {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} put Levi in the lead and he stayed there as the board ran out {K-Spades} {10-Hearts}. He now has 475,000 while Ta's stack was reduced to 310,000

Samuel Rosenzweig Has Been Eliminated

John Roveto moved all in for his last 98,000 before the flop and Samuel Rosenzweig called in the small blind for his 35,000. Rosenzwieg's {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts} trailed Roveto's {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} but the {K-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {A-Spades} flop put him in the lead. Roveto picked up a gutshot straight draw on the flop and after the {9-Clubs} fell on the turn Roveto spiked the {Q-Clubs} on the river to make his straight and eliminate Rosenzweig. Roveto now sits with 170,000.

Kings for Vukasin

Preflop, Adam Katz made it 26,000 to go from middle position. Duncan Bell called, as did the player on the button and small blind. Frank Vukasin, from the big blind, moved all in for another 110,000 on top. Katz got out of the way, but Duncan Bell, who had Frank covered, moved all in as well and everyone else folded.

Bell showed A-K while Frank held pocket kings. The kings held up for Frank and after the hand he is up to 410,000.

And on the River...

Pete de Best raised to 30,000 and Nathan Doudney moved all in for his last 120,000. De Best thought a bit before finally making the call with A-K to Doudney's pocket eights.

De Best flopped a king and the rest of the hand looked to be a mere formality...when the {8-Clubs} spiked on the river. De Best put his hands on his head in disbelief as the pot was pushed the other way, and he's now down to around 80,000. Doudney sits with around 290,000.
