D'Angelo Picks Up Where He Left Off

We don't have details on the hand, but apparently Ryan D'Angelo has busted another player at Green #1. Before departing in anger, the busted player offered everyone else at the table a $5,000 bounty to take D'Angelo out. That's a rather tough task since D'Angelo has everyone at the table covered (and then some).

Mark Vos Eliminated

After Dale Morrow raised to 9,000 from the button, Mark Vos pushed all in for 39,400 from the small blind. Aaron Coulthard called all in from the big blind and Morrow got out of the way. The players showed:

Vos: {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Coulthard: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Despite flopping a wheel draw and turning an open-ender, Vos missed the river and ended up with ace-high. He was left with just 7,800 in chips.

A few hands later, he came up short once more, again holding {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} when he ran into the stronger {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Again, Vos got no help from the community cards and was sent home.

Friedman Finds a King

Perry Friedman Demonstrates Our New ID Card System
Perry Friedman Demonstrates Our New ID Card System
Perry Friedman just became involved in a pot for his tournament life. He and another player got all their chips into the middle preflop, with Friedman tabling {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} against his opponent's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop was no good for Friedman, as it came {8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, giving his opponent top pair and pushing Friedman to the brink. The turn card, {4-Spades}, was of no help either, but he redrew to the best hand when the river brought the {K-Spades}.

Friedman doubled up on that hand, and is now up to around 105,000.

Kanter's Big Slick Overwhelms Brady's Cowboys

In a big hand, Aaron Kanter raised, Hooman Nikzad reraised all in and Matt Brady called. When action got back to Kanter, he reraised all in and Brady called again. The players turned up their hands:

Kanter: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Nikzad: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Brady: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Brady was in great shape until the board came {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades} to make a pair of aces for Kanter. Kanter finished the hand with 165,000 in chips while Brady dipped to 50,000. Nikzad busted on the hand.

Strassmann Keeps Piling On

Johannes Strassmann keeps accumulating chips, this time at Thomas Fuller's expense. Strassmann fired on a flop of {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for 12,700. Fuller made the call. Both players checked the turn {2-Diamonds}. When the {Q-Spades} fell on the river, Strassmann fired again -- this time for 39,000. Fuller made the call, only to see Strassmann turn over {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for a rivered top pair. Fuller mucked.

After the pot was pushed to Strassmann, his stack stood at a touch over 200,000.
