Battle of the Big Stacks

Both Andrey Zaichenko and Michiel Brummelhuis have been engaging in several hands since returning from break. Both players lead in chips and they continue to butt heads when in hands.

Thus far, they've run pocket queens into pocket kings and on a board of {10-Hearts} {10-Spades} {10-Clubs} {9-Hearts} Andrey folded after Michiel led out for 30,000. Andrey mucked, but showed A-K which prompted Michiel to turn over his Q-2 for the bluff.

It's going to be an interesting night as long as these two guys are seated at the same table.

Erica Schoenberg Eliminated

Erica Schoenberg was eliminated after moving all-in preflop with {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} and was called by a player holding {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. The flop came {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} which looked great for Erica, but the {10-Clubs} on the turn left her drawing to for help on the river which didn't come.

Hennigan Flushed, Twice

In two back-to-back hands, John Hennigan ended up chopping two pots due to board flushes. The first took place with board reading {2-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} and Hennigan led out on the river with {Q-Spades} {6-Spades} and was called by his opponent who held {A-Spades} {10-Spades}. They chopped and the following hand Hennigan was all in holding pocket tens and called by a player holding {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}. The board ran {8-Spades} {J-Spades} {3-Spades} {Q-Spades} {2-Spades} and Hennigan and his opponent chopped.

Though Hennigan wasn't eliminated in either situation, it's a sure bet he would have rather doubled through than chop.

Wahlroos On the Prowl

Thomas Walhroos, who had struggled earlier in the day, has done a great job of building his chips back up. He's been hovering around the 25k-30k mark, but most recently was seen eliminating a player after calling an all in while holding K-J against his opponent's K-10. The kicker held for Wahlroos after the board bricked and he's up to 27,900 after the hand.
