Ali Salman is Swimming in Chips

Ali Salman made a huge call when his opponent bet all in for approximately 110,000. Salman said "I got a read on you... I call" and turned over top pair, queens, with a jack kicker. His read was correct as his opponent had second pair, nines and Salman took in the 240,000 that was in the pot.

Gargantuan Stack

We approach the table with a flop of {4-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}.

The two players involved are Kyle Wilson and Tony Gargano. A series of bets and raises see all the money go in the on the flop.

Wilson tables {A-Hearts} {4-Clubs}
Gargano tables {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds}

The money was always going in on this flop. After a count it works out that Gargano has Kyle slightly covered.

The turn comes {8-Hearts} and river {5-Clubs}.

Gargano is our new chip leader with 365,000 and Wilson is out.

Quads Doing It For FBT

Greg Mueller
Greg Mueller
There was a button raise to 10,000 before a small blind player moved all in for 62,000. Greg Mueller was in the big blind and called all in for his last 10,000. The initial raiser folded so we're heads up.

Mueller had {J-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}
Small blind player {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}

The board ran {6-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {7-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} for quad nines!

Mueller finally busted after a valiant effort to stay afloat.

Big Stacks Tussle

Ben Zamani and Harold Akiona have just played out a pot. It was a raised pot before the flop came {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {7-Hearts}.

Zamadi led out for a 21,000 bet before Akiona raised to 71,000.

Zamadi called before the turn came {8-Hearts}. This slowed played down considerably as they checked it and the {10-Clubs} river.

Zamadi showed {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades} for a set.
Akiona showed {Q-Hearts} {K-Hearts} for a flopped flush and the pot.

Both players on 320,000 now. It's a wonder why Akiona didn't want to bet the river after it was checked to him for a second time.
