Nothing to Update

The reason for the lack of updates the last few minutes is very simple. There is nothing to update. As tends to be the case late in No Limit tournament, this tournament has come down to a slow grind. There are a lot of raise and take it pots with very few flops shown. The flops that are shown are usually bet and taken down immediately.

We still need to lose one before we are to our final table. The over-under is set at 1 1/2 levels.

Dunst Picks Up a Few Chips

Preflop, Tony Dunst raised to 46,000 and David Singer made the call after tanking for a couple of minutes. On a flop of {A-Hearts} {9-Spades} {6-Spades}, Dunst bet out and after tanking for about five minutes, Singer folded. Dunst picked up a 100,000 chip pot.

Bolotin Spikes Set; Doubles Through Singer!

Alex Bolotin opened the action with a raise from middle position to 35,000. David Singer was next to speak and flat called. The rest of the players folded and the two players took a flop.

The flop arrived {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Bolotin led out with a bet of 40,000. Singer asked Bolotin for a count of his remaining chips and thought for several minutes before announcing that he was all in. Before the words had left Singer's mouth, Bolotin announced a call and flipped over {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for top set. Singer showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for the overpair.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and river the {2-Hearts} and Bolotin doubles through Singer to 520,000 chips, leaving Singer with 340,000.
