Chip Leaders Chop

Matt Vengrin raised to 10,000 from the button preflop and Alex Melnikow made the call from the big blind.

They took a flop of {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Melnikow led out with a bet of 20,000. Vengrin min-raised to 40,000 and Melnikow made the call.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and both players slowed down and checked. The river was the {8-Spades} and Melnikow tanked for a long time before declaring that he was all in. Vengrin snap-called with {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the straight as Melnikow showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the same hand as the chip leaders chopped up the pot!
