Good morning all, and welcome back to the cavernous Amazon Room. Amazon Room makes it sound considerably more exotic than it is - Gigantic Poker Factory would have rung better, but might have somewhat compromised the Rio theming.

Anyway, the Amazon Factory currently feels incredibly huge what with only a mere smattering of the field that we are expecting now lurking in the room, but come noon it should be seething with both players and our worryingly keen field reporters alike...

Howdy ho pot limit fans and welcome to Event 3's $1,500 Pot Limit Hold'em Freezeout, a tournament which is destined to surpass last year's field of 781 and continue what has been a record-breaking start to this year's World Series.

For this event, we have a genuine treat in store for you, as your scintillating, and often educational live updates will come courtesy of PokerNews' first all British contingent in myself and the current apple of my eye, the voluptuous and grumpy-in-the-mornings-if-she-hasn't-had-her-coffee Dana. However, don't fear, we won't be bombarding you with references to the Queen, hooliganism and drinking tea, as scavenging the plethora of tables with the enthusiasm of a child on Christmas Eve will be our American field reporters, observing all the action with the keenest of eyes.

Play is scheduled to commence at 12pm (Las Vegas time), so until then, sleep tight and dream of aces. I dreamt of aces once, but they still got busted. I run so bad.
