Best McEvoyd This One...

Tom McEvoy must be among our early chip leaders. After propelling his stack to 6,000 after turning the straight with {10-Clubs} {J-Clubs} on a {2-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {4-Diamonds} board, he has now leapt up to the intoxicating heights of 8,000 after eliminating young Frenchman and EPT champion Ludovic Lacay.

McEvoy made it 500 on the {5-Hearts} {7-Spades} {J-Diamonds} flop and Lacay called in early-ish position. McEvoy bet another 500 on the {5-Diamonds} turn, and again, Lacay called. The river was the innocuous {4-Hearts} and McEvoy put Lacay all in with a 1200 bet. On their backs and Lacay's {J-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} was no match for the mighty house-alicious {5-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} of McEvoy.
