The Bansi Plays a Marching Tune

After struggling the entire day, rarely threatening the chip leaders, last year's bracelet winner Praz Bansi has finally exited at the hands of Steven Shanks. Normally you'd struggle to report a 7-2 versus K-K encounter without raising a sneaky rye smile, but in Praz's defense, he was pushing a short-stack from the small blind, and rather unfortunate to find the initial raiser with such a strong hand.

Although the Brit stumbled upon a ray of hope with a flopped flush draw, it failed to emerge as the raggy board supplied Shanks with the pot, and Bansi the door. Shanks now on 29,000.
