Filtz Wins a Chunky Pot

It folded around to Justin Filtz who just made up the blind. Big blind Dario Minieri raised another 21,000, and Filtz called.

The flop came down {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {10-Spades} and Filtz checked. Minieri bet 38,000 and after a brief pause Filtz called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and again Filtz checked. This time Minieri bet 100,000. Filtz paused a little longer this time, but eventually called.

Both players silently checked the {Q-Diamonds} river before Filtz announced, "Ace," and turned over {A-Hearts} {9-Spades}. Minieri simply nodded and mucked.

Filtz is up to 765,000, while Minieri drops down to 1.59 million -- still a convincing chip lead.
