Pair His Board or Draw an Ace

Chris Tryba was short and running out of streets. He was all in against Sabyl Landrum. Landrum was not able to connect with anything on her board, showing {J-Spades} {4-Spades} {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {3-Clubs}. Tryba was in even worse straits; he showed {J-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {2-Spades} {6-Diamonds} for only jack high, but a very good draw: any nine, any diamond, any pair or even any ace would win him the pot. He squeezed the river and drew the {2-Diamonds} to make a diamond flush and stay alive.

Tryba is up to 45,000 in chips.
