On the first hand Aaron Kanter moved all in for 163,000 and Cody Slaubaugh called. Kanter's {A-Diamonds}

was dominated by Slaubaugh's {A-Spades}

, but after the flop came {2-Spades}

and the turn the {Q-Hearts}

Kanter spiked the {7-Hearts}

on the river to double up and stay in the tournament.

The chip leader heading into play today, this is Hougaard's first World Series of Poker final table and his third WSOP cash. The native of Copenhagen, Denmark finished 38th in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout and took 356th in last year's Main Event.

This is Cody "thugmoneymkr" Slaubaugh's fourth cash at the 2008 World Series of Poker and his first final table appearance. Hailing from Rugby, ND, Slaubaugh's resume includes a long list of impressive online scores, and after eliminating a string of players at the end of play last night, Slaubaugh is in position to add a WSOP bracelet to his list of accomplishments.

Danny Wong dominated the play during the early part of yesterday's session and comes into the final table third in chips. This is Wong's fifth WSOP cash and his first final table. The Las Vegas resident has WPT and EPT final tables to his credit and is perhaps the most accomplished live player at today's final table.
