John Shipley, from Solihull, UK, has 11 previous WSOP cashes. Shipley came to the final table of the 2002 World Series of Poker Main Event as the chip leader and ended up finishing seventh. He enjoyed a good run in the 2006 WSOP, where he cashed four times and reached one final table. Shipley also took first in the EPT's 2004 European Poker Classic, winning $374,940.

Aaron "Gotcha55" Kanter is perhaps best known for his performance at the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event. Kanter final tabled that event and took home a 4th-place finish for his work, netting $2,000,000. But Kanter also has a long, long list of online poker accolades, including a victory in PokerStars' $200,000 Sunday Guarantee and an FTOPS title. He comes into play today with the shortest stack.
