Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow
Mike “The Mouth” Matusow is one of the most recognized faces in the poker world, not just for his skill on the felt, but for his antics at the table. Matusow has over $5.6 million in lifetime earnings, and earlier this series he won his third bracelet in the Deuce to Seven Lowball event. If Matusow were to win today’s event, this would be his second bracelet in Omaha Hi-Lo. He won a bracelet in Omaha Hi-Lo at the 2002 World Series of Poker.

Our Official Final Table Is Set

With the elimination of Berry Johnston in 10th place we are now at our official WSOP final table of nine players.

There has not been a redraw for the final table as they will maintain their current seating. David Benyamine will enter this final table as chip leader in search of his first WSOP bracelet.

The players are just being introduced to the crowd and play will recommence shortly.

Matusow Slips

Mike Matusow raised from middle position and David Benyamine 3-bet from late position. Matusow made the call.

They took a flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Matusow checked to Benyamine who made a continuation bet. Matusow made the call.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Matusow checked again to Benyamine who fired another barrel. This time is worked as Matusow laid it down to slip to 190,000 chips.
