ElkY Doubles Through Jenkins

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier has doubled through Dallas Jenkins.

Blind on blind, Jenkins in the small, they limped and checked respectively to see a {7-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {K-?} flop -- Jenkins checked, Grospellier bet 200, and Jenkins called. Jenkins check-raised Grospellier all in on the {J-Hearts} turn, he called, and they were on their backs.

Jenkins: {10-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}
ElkY: {K-Hearts} {7-Clubs}

River: {Q-Hearts}

ElkY now on 2,600.

Peter Dalhuijsen Eliminated

Dutchman Peter Dalhuijsen pushed for 2,150 with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} on a {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop before being given a spin by {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, his opponent complimenting "nice hand" upon seeing the pocket cowboys.

However, an {A-Diamonds} on the turn followed by a blank {8-Hearts} river put an end to Dalhuijsen's journey, his look of disgust as he left speaking volumes.

"Well, maybe this is my day," suggested the victor.

Set Over Set for Amnon

Amnon Filippi
Amnon Filippi
Fortunately for the 2007 HORSE finalist, this one swung in his favor, his {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} being duly paid off by {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} on a cruel {2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. A {10-Spades} turn was no good, and the {5-Clubs} was merely overkill, leading to a battered and bruised opponent commenting, "Jesus... rub it in why don't you, God, that's such a cooler of a hand."

Filippi now on over 20,000 in chips.

Saul Destroyer

Kevin Saul
Kevin Saul
Kevin Saul has fallen at the hands of High Stakes Poker star Eli Elezra.

With Saul raising it up preflop with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}, Elezra and one other player called to see a three-way flop of {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Saul continue-bet his final 325, and both players called.

With just two players remaining, Elezra bet out on the {J-Diamonds} turn and again on the {6-Spades} river, this time pushing all in. His opponent sidestepped out of the way, allowing Elezra to pick up the pot with {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.
