Al Adler has doubled up to 44,000 through big stack David Chicotsky. Adler limped utg and there were two other limpers behind him. Chicotsky made it 10,000 from the small blind, and Adler went all in for a total of 18,000. Both other limpers got out of the way, and Chicotsky called.
Paul Foltyn
After being desperately short last night as the bubble loomed, Clonie Gowen duly survived the last exit of the day and has subsequently turned a stack of just several thousand into a now whopping 75,000.
Her latest double-through came at the hands of British online pro Paul 'Pab' Foltyn, who briefly popped his head over the magic 100,000 mark at one point.
Gowen raised from late position for 5,500 with , Foltyn reraised to 16,000 from the blind with and Gowen pushed all in.
Foltyn quickly called, but was unable to improve his hand on a board. As a a result, Foltyn is now back down to 65,000.
Lee Watkinson, having fallen on some hard times after his absolute domination of his table through most of yesterday, is clawing chips back. Most recently he doubled up, all in on the river of a 4-5-2-6-8 board holding 5-7, Paul "Pab" Foltyn paid him off with his outdrawn pocket aces.
Al Adler is now up to 63,000 after moving all in on the river of a board. Adler showed for a flopped set, and his caller, Chicotsky, just mucked. He's now dropped down to 49,000.
A few players have been mumbling unjustifiably about coolers today, but if anyone has any genuine right to complain, it's Thomas Sanduski, his kings running into the pocket rockets of Amato Galasso and failing to improve on a rainbow 2-2-9-8-8 board.
As Sanduski headed to the door with a disgruntled expression, Galasso began to construct a newly acquired stack of 48,000.
After suffering an up and down thrill ride that would put the New York New York rollercoaster to shame, Sunny Chattha has finally bitten the dust after a series of eventful hands.
Hand 1: Chattha was crippled with jacks versus A-T, his 22,000 stack being decimated to a paltry 1,500.
Hand 2: Chattha then trebled through to 5,000 with K-J.
Hand 3: The Brit looked at one card, a king, shoved his 5,000 into the pot and received four callers. He looked at the other... another king! Sadly for Chattha, one of his opponents had made two pair with A-Q on an A-Q-x flop which held up on the blank turn and river.
