Neil Channing has doubled up his micro-stack -- all in preflop for a total of 17,000 with K-Q, Robert Cheung called him with A-6, and the board came down 8-8-6-K-7 to keep Channing in the game. He's still short, though -- his doubled-up 35,000 stack amounts to less than six big blinds.
Personalized hat antics
Eugene Todd is OUT. Jan Von Halle raised to 18,000 preflop and Todd raised all in. Von Halle made the call, as you do, holding -- Todd meanwhile could only muster .
No more gigantic aces-cracking coolers on the board, and Todd becomes our 18th place finisher.
Davood Mehrmand
Davood Mehrmand raised to 21,000 preflop with only 8,000 behind, Chris Dombrowski reraised him all in and Mehrmand called.

Robert Cheung raised it up to 17,000 from middle position, Keith Lehr reraised to 52,000 from the small blind, Cheung pushed for a total of 128,000 and Lehr folded.
Cheung increased his stack considerably without having to show a hand or see a flop and now boasts over 180,000 in chips.
Without much room to maneuver, Neil Channing raised to 21,000 with , and then called all in for a total mere 28,000 when Robert Cheung reraised him. Cheung was holding the dominating , and with a complete lack of deuces on the board, Channing is OUT in 16th place.
There is quite a degree of caginess on one of our tables -- both Michael Greco and Jeff Sluzinski enjoyed consecutive walks as everyone clings on to their chips for dear life.
Masseuse just out of shot
It looks as though we have a new chip leader. Endless hours of relaxing massage have clearly given Jan Von Halle an advantage over his stressed opponents in these late stages of play, as he has in the past few minutes shot up to a massive 440,000
