Triple Up

Limit Hold'em

Al Barbieri raised to 800 before a player in seat one reraised to 1,200 and was all in. Tad Jergens then three bet and Barbieri called.

The flop was {8-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and it prompted Jergens to go all in for his last 200 chips that Barbieri called.

Al Barbieiri tabled {A-Clubs} {6-Spades}
Jergens tabled {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Seat one player {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

The turn came {9-Diamonds} and river {6-Clubs}. The turned flush for Jergens good for the pot and a triple up for Jergens who moves up to 4,400.

Barbieri still healthy on 15,500.

Jean-Robert Bellande Crippled, Then Busted

We pick up the action on the flop. Jean-Robert Bellande and one other player see the board reading {5-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Bellande bets 775, and his opponent calls.

The turn is the {K-Hearts}. The unknown player bets out all in into Bellande. Jean-Robert calls, showing {J-Diamonds} {9-Spades}. His opponent tables {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. The river {2-Spades} is no help to Bellande, and he is crippled all the way down to just 75 chips.

Bellande tripled up right after that with {A-Spades} {2-Clubs} (his ace high won a three-way pot), but then was eliminated a short time later with {7-Hearts} {8-Spades}.

Le'flush

No-Limit Hold'em:

Allen Le made a raise to 300 and then called the big blind's all in reraise of 3,200 with {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}. He was up against {A-Spades} {K-Spades}.

The board came {9-Spades} {6-Clubs} {3-Spades} {7-Spades} {5-Clubs}. A flush on turn good for the pot.

Le down to 6,500.

Levi Calls His Shot

David Levi and another player got all their chips in preflop. Levi held {A-?} {J-?} and was dominated by his opponent holding {A-?} {Q-?}. The first four cards off the deck were {3-Hearts} {K-Spades} {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts}. As the dealer prepared to flip the river card, Levi said, "Chop it up. Deuce of diamonds."

Sure enough, the {2-Diamonds} fell on the river, making both players a winning wheel and chopping up the pot.

Benson Doubles

No-Limit Hold'em:

Gary Benson raised from under the gun to 450. Matt Shepsky reraised to 1,350 from the small blind and Benson called.

The flop came {K-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and Shepsky bet 1,650 and Benson called all in for that exact amount. Benson held {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades} and Shepsky held {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}.

The turn came the {J-Hearts} and the river the {6-Diamonds}, doubling Benson up to 6,100.

Shannon Shorr Eliminated

We pick up the action on the flop in a heads up pot between David Plastik and Shannon Shorr. The board reads {K-Clubs} {10-Spades} {6-Spades}. Both players check the flop. The turn is the {8-Clubs}. Plastik bets out 1500, and Shannon Shorr moves all in for another 525 on top. Plastik calls.

Plastik: {5-Spades} {7-Spades}
Shorr: {K-?} {Q-?}

Shorr flopped top pair, but Plastik flopped a flush draw and turned a straight draw in addition. The river brings a {9-?} to make his straight, and Shannon Shorr has been eliminated.
